Mr Sham SEETARAM

Mr Sham Seetaram studied and worked in England since 1996. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng) and a Masters Degree in Management in Construction and Construction Law form Kingston University, London. A civil engineer by profession, he has worked for top class UK project management companies. He was project manager for the maintenance of 200km of motorway in North London and was involved in the set up of the London congestion charge, the largest scheme of its kind at the time of implementation. He has worked in business environment for the last three years and has a firm grasp of engineering, which is a key requirement in the project. Sham is also the Director of Operations of a pleasure boat company and therefore already has important exposure to the Mauritian tourism industry with strong contact with agents for sales and marketing. He has spent considerable time conducting extensive research on Cable car systems including on-site visits and his knowledge and experience will bring vital additional information to ensure the success of this project.

In the 2002, Sham attended the World Travel Market in London where the initial concept was presented to some international tour operators. Since then the company has been in regular contact with these tour operators. Additionally, the company has also initiated contact, locally, with different major tour operators on the island.


Mr J.I.M SEETARAM

Mr J.I.M Seetaram was called at the Bar at Lincoln’s Inns, London in 2001, and is now practicing as a lawyer and partner at Geroudis Chambers in Mauritius. His business contacts and network are key to the successful running of the project.


Mrs Rookmeenee SEETARAM

Mrs. Seetaram is the owner of major plots of freehold land to be used for the project.
