The Seven Waterfalls Integrated Development Project (SWIDP) is an ambitious joint Eco- and Health-Tourism project which will revolve around what is expected to become an international icon, namely the Seven Waterfalls Cable Car. The whole development process will be undertaken against the backdrop of environmental rehabilitation, maintenance and conservation in this part of Mauritius, which is considered by the Mauritius Wildlife Fund to be the “second most endangered biodiversity in the world.”
